David Eddy is a Russellville attorney who spends much time hiking the mountains of Arkansas, as well as the Appalachian Mountains from Georgia to Maine, canoeing Ozark and Ouachita Mountain streams, following his beagles across fields and woods, and photographing nature scenes in Arkansas. A native of Morrilton, he has resided in Russellville since 1983. With regard to his photography, nature provides the tone, range of color, contrast, proportions, shapes, and beauty for his photography. He simply takes his camera, lenses, and tripod to a specific place in the mountains or creek bottoms, composes the scene in soft light early in the morning or late in the day, and makes a few camera settings. The real creative work is done by a higher hand that sets up the scene to be captured. Occasionally, a beagle will wander into the picture.
