Recreation and Leisure
Through the Community Concert Association, performances by nationally
and internationally famous musical artists are held in Russellville. The
4,000-seat Tucker Coliseum on the Tech campus provides an ideal location
for concerts, festivals and other activities.
Russellville and Pope County have many wonderful aspects when it comes
to quality of life, with cultural opportunities and community spirit.

The Arts Center is located in City Park, just south of the Hughes
Community Center. Exhibits in contemporary and local art of many
different mediums are displayed. A new exhibit is on display each

Located on the campus of Arkansas Tech University, the museum store
carries merchandise handcrafted by area Native American artisans.
Archeological artifacts and early documents are on display. Artifacts
depict life in Arkansas from 12,000 years ago to the present. |

One of the best preserved stagecoach stations on the Butterfield
Overland mail route between Memphis and Ft. Smith is the Potts home in
Pottsville. Open 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. this historic site has an
innkeeper on the grounds and is under the direction of the Pope County
Historical Foundation. |
